The first simulation uses a mesh that is well layered which has 0 illegal faces... The second simulation has a mesh that ERRORs with floating point exception error... The only change that the 2nd mesh had was the addition of an Inside Cartesian Box Region Refinement that tried to refine the 0.5 meter area around the car body to a finer Level 6 size... When that refinement was added, the mesh creation errored... OK SOLUTION was to increase Cartesian Box/Distance from surface Refinement level until it meshed without error...
