This project focuses on the design and simulation of a small-scale Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) to supply sustainable energy in Kenya’s off-grid rural regions tailored for Voi, Kenya. Kenya’s growing electricity demand, coupled with unreliable grid access in many areas, highlights the need for affordable, renewable alternatives (Burton, Sharpe, Jenkins, & Bossanyi, 2011).
