The fluid flow through various systems in different fields follows a vivid pattern pertaining to the various phases that it may contain. One of the examples could be two phase flow in which two phases, i.e. gas and liquid, exist simultaneously. This type of flow can be seen in oil and gas industries where the performance of the system depends upon the flow regimes in which it operates. Few flow regimes, such as the churn flow is undesirable in few cases. Our aim is to replicate this flow and study its behaviour using an experimental setup.
