This project investigates the structural behavior of a rocket fin using the Finite Element Method (FEM). A trapezoidal rocket fin geometry was modeled and analyzed under aerodynamic loading conditions. Aluminum 6061-T6 was selected as the material due to its high strength-to-weight ratio and common aerospace applications. The study evaluates Von Mises stress, deformation, mesh convergence, and factor of safety to assess the structural integrity of the fin during flight.
