This project focuses on the structural and aerodynamic analysis of a rocket fin using SimScale. Finite Element Method (FEM) is used to evaluate stress, deformation, and factor of safety under aerodynamic loading, while Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is used to study airflow, pressure distribution, velocity contours, and wake formation around the fin. A mesh independence study is performed to improve simulation accuracy, followed by a comparison of the original and optimized fin design based on engineering observations.
