The system consists of: • Sedimentation pond (3 x 3 x 2 m) • Large gravel filtration chamber (20–30 mm media) • Medium gravel filtration chamber (10–15 mm media) • Fine gravel filtration chamber (3–10 mm media) • Overflow connection between chambers Objective of this simulation: • Analyze water flow velocity through each filtration layer • Identify dead zones and short-circuit flow paths • Evaluate pressure distribution • Optimize hydraulic retention time (HRT) • Improve overflow pipe sizing and elevation design Working fluid: Water Flow type: Internal incompressible flow Purpose: Hydraulic performance evaluation and design optimization
