2) Determine stratification and convection currents Thermal stratification and convection currents will be important to understand the requirements of the mixing system, CFD software will assist in estimating these phenomena. These results will be critical when determining the amount and location of sensors. Since I am relying on the computational model only, I will design the mixing system with high redundancy. I will utilize Solidworks for modelling the physical structure and import the structure into SimScale for analysis of stratification and convection current formation.
