This project involves the structural analysis of a cantilever beam using finite element analysis (FEA) in SimScale. The beam was modeled and subjected to a fixed support at one end and a downward force at the other end to simulate practical loading conditions. The simulation was used to evaluate stress distribution and deformation characteristics. Results showed maximum stress concentration near the fixed support and maximum displacement at the free end, consistent with theoretical expectations. A parametric study was also performed by varying the applied load to observe its effect on stress and deformation. This project helped build foundational understanding of FEA workflow, boundary condition application, and interpretation of simulation results.
