This project simulates airflow and wake interaction across a 5×5 wind turbine array using the incompressible flow solver. The turbine rotors are modeled as actuator disks with a radius of 50 meters, arranged in a grid with 400-meter spacing. The aim is to evaluate wake losses, wind speed distribution, and the effect of yaw misalignment on downstream turbines. Simulations support a thesis on yaw angle optimization using reinforcement learning, with geometry developed in FreeCAD and environmental data sourced from NASA POWER.
