This project aims to simulate and analyze the aerodynamic behavior of a Formula 1 (F1) car using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) techniques, with the ultimate goal of designing the optimal aerodynamic configuration for maximum performance on track. Through detailed airflow simulations, the project will evaluate key aerodynamic parameters such as drag coefficient (Cd), downforce, pressure distribution, and airflow patterns around critical components (e.g., front/rear wings, sidepods, underbody, and diffuser). Various design iterations will be tested and compared in a virtual wind tunnel to identify configurations that strike the best balance between low drag and high downforce. Goals: Understand the key aerodynamic principles that affect F1 performance. Identify and reduce sources of aerodynamic drag. Maximize downforce while maintaining airflow stability and cooling efficiency. Design a concept F1 car that meets or exceeds current aerodynamic standards. - Copy
