WindSense is a mechanically intelligent wind turbine designed to optimize wind-energy generation without relying on electronic sensors, microcontrollers, batteries, or digital control systems. The proposed system uses mechanical principles and passive mechanisms to respond automatically to changing wind conditions. As wind speed changes, the turbine's mechanical components adjust parameters such as blade orientation, rotor exposure, or mechanical loading to maintain efficient operation and protect the turbine during excessively strong winds. The project will be developed as a simulation of the mechanical behavior of the turbine under different wind conditions. The simulation will allow users to vary the wind speed and observe how the turbine's mechanical control mechanism responds.
