This project involves structural and aerodynamic simulation of a rocket fin geometry using SimScale. A Finite Element Method (FEM) static analysis is performed to evaluate Von Mises stress distribution, deformation, and Factor of Safety under aerodynamic loading. A CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation is conducted to analyze the external flow field, pressure distribution, drag coefficient, and wake formation around the fin. The project is part of the India Space Lab Rocketry Training Program and uses the SimScale cloud platform with Code_Aster (FEM) and OpenFOAM (CFD) solvers.
