Self-driven CAE project simulating stress at a pressure vessel nozzle junction in SimScale. I prepared the geometry in Onshape as a quarter-symmetry model, applied pressure, end-thrust and symmetry boundary conditions, and meshed it with refined second-order tetrahedral elements. I validated the results against analytical hoop-stress theory (within 1.3%) and ran a mesh study that showed the peak junction stress was mesh-independent (0.15% change). The full workflow covered geometry prep, meshing, analysis and validation.
