This project simulates the aerodynamic behavior of a hollow triangular beam with a corrugated zigzag (diamond/chevron) surface pattern, inspired by an origami-folded paper prototype. The structure is an equilateral triangular prism (outer side 98 mm, inner hollow 73 mm, height 35 mm) with 8 zigzag folds per side arranged in a repeating diamond tessellation. The goal is to evaluate wind resistance, drag forces, and airflow patterns around and through the hollow structure under various wind speeds. This study is part of a broader investigation into whether this folded surface geometry can improve wind resistance performance when applied to construction elements such as walls, bridges, or road barriers.
