About this project

The objective of this project is to become familiar with porous media using Simscale and to carry out a complete study of a porous butterfly inside a pipe. This butterfly will be tested at different angles with respect to the flow. This will provide a complete idea of the flow behavior when facing porosity. Simulations will be steady, incompressible and turbulent, and the fluid used will be air. The pipe will be long enough and it will contain a fully developed flow.
