In this project stress analysis of steel joint was done. From the simulation results the von-misses stresses and the corresponding displacement for applied pressure load can be observed. Initially a CADD model was imported from GrabCAD. After importing the joint model, it was uploaded on SimScale platform for further analysis. The automatic tetrahedralization mesh was used for meshing. Bolt faces and one connecting face were fixed and a pressure load of 10e7 P was applied on other two side faces in order to carry out the simulation.
