About this project

This project is intended to investigate the different drag characteristics of versions of fins intended for a model rocket using the Prandtl-D tip (NASA Preliminary Research Aerodynamic Design To Lower Drag) airfoil profile. The primary intent is to determine whether drag characteristics are improved or detracted by the truncation of the fin profile through the limitation of max thickness of the fin.
