To evaluate the impact of indoor plants on thermal comfort within small-scale (micro) office environments located in tropical climates. To compare the thermal performance of two common air conditioning types—wall-mounted and cassette units—within micro-office spaces using CFD simulation. To assess the differences in airflow and thermal comfort between two typical spatial layouts: a square-shaped and a long rectangular office layout, each occupying 30 square meters. To simulate realistic workplace scenarios by integrating vegetation characteristics (e.g., Leaf Area Index and transpiration rate) and user density to analyze PMV/PPD indices via SimScale. To establish design guidelines for improving indoor environmental quality (IEQ) through the strategic integration of plants and air-conditioning systems in micro-scale tropical workspaces.
