Project Goal The goal of this project is to design an environmentally friendly and safe skateboard park that integrates sustainable materials and physics principles. This park aims to minimize environmental impact while maximizing safety and user enjoyment through innovative features like optimal ramp angles, low-friction surfaces, and soft-fall zones for inclusivity across all skill levels. Simulation Type The simulation type used in this project will be a physics-based motion simulation. This approach will analyze skateboard motion, including velocity, acceleration, and trajectory, to optimize ramp designs, transitions, and energy conservation. Project Description This project focuses on creating a sustainable skateboard park using eco-friendly materials such as recycled plastics, metals, and green concrete. By simulating the motion of skateboards on ramps with varying angles, the design ensures smooth transitions and reduced risk of injury. The simulation will analyze factors like velocity, force, and friction to balance speed and safety. Soft-fall zones and distinct sections for beginners and advanced skaters will be included to promote inclusivity and safety. Additionally, virtual modeling tools will help visualize the design before creating prototypes for testing and redesigning based on results.
