About this project

This project aims to analyze the performance of a split air-conditioner in a domestic setting. The air-conditioner has a rating of 1.5 ton, and is to be used in a room of dimensions 12m x 12m x 2.5m. The outside temperature is 40 C and the U-value of the walls is 0.5 Wm-2K-1 The model used is a convective heat transfer steady-state k-Omega SST simulation.
