This project compares the aerodynamic performance of a standard vertical axis wind turbine blade with a bio-inspired blade design based on hammerhead shark cephalofoil tubercles. The goal is to analyze how surface geometry modifications affect lift, drag, and overall flow behavior in a rotating wind turbine system using CFD simulation. Results from the simulation are used to compare performance differences in torque, pressure distribution, and wake structure between both designs.
