This research explores the potential of harvesting wind energy generated by high-speed trains to produce sustainable electricity. By utilizing vertical-axis wind turbines (VAWT), triboelectric generators, and Venturi-effect structures along railway tracks, this project aims to convert the aerodynamic wake of passing trains into usable power. The study focuses on optimizing turbine placement, enhancing energy conversion efficiency, and ensuring minimal disruption to train aerodynamics and stability. The findings could contribute to green energy solutions for railway infrastructure in Japan and beyond.
