It's a airfoil (NACA0015) with dimples on the surface. The dimples are not round like the ones found in a golf ball. Instead, the dimples here are shaped like a droplet. Why is it shaped like a droplet? Because bird wings have a gap of similar shape in between the smaller feathers.
