To investigate how the vertical height of a water source affects the electrical energy output of a hydroelectric turbine, and to evaluate the feasibility of using recycled materials to provide low-cost energy solutions for rural communities in Nicaragua. Hypothesis If the height of the water reservoir is increased, then the rotation speed of the water wheel will increase, because the falling water will have a higher gravitational potential energy to convert into kinetic energy.
