This project involves the CFD analysis of a custom-designed, asymmetrical truncated cone nozzle intended for microclimate generation. The geometry is engineered to channel and accelerate low-pressure airflow from an axial fan (velocity inlet at approx. 3 m/s) to transport heavy water vapor against gravity up to a height of 1.5 meters. The internal topology leverages the Venturi effect through a specifically calculated choke point to increase dynamic pressure, followed by a controlled expansion zone (vortex/stagnation area) to decrease velocity and allow moisture deposition on a target surface. The structure features an open top (pressure outlet) to prevent choked flow, avoid boundary layer separation at the base, and dissipate heat from external LED irradiation.
