This project explores how fluid behaves when it encounters simple obstacles—such as cubes, spheres, and cylinders—using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations in Sim Scale. The aim is to understand how different shapes influence fluid flow under various conditions, whether the flow is smooth and orderly (laminar) or chaotic and swirling (turbulent). # Objectives - Simulate fluid flow around basic geometric shapes to study how obstacles affect movement - Analyze velocity patterns, pressure changes, and turbulence across different flow regimes - Observe flow separation, wake formation, and pressure drop around each shape - Compare results to identify which shapes promote smoother, more stable flow behavior These insights are useful for applications in aerodynamics, civil infrastructure, and traffic or crowd flow modeling—any situation where fluid-like movement interacts with physical barriers.
