This project simulates the extrusion of 3D-printable concrete through a nozzle using incompressible non-Newtonian CFD in SimScale. The aim is to evaluate pressure demand, velocity profile, and shear rate distribution for different printable mixes that were previously optimized using Taguchi and Grey Relational Analysis (GRG). The simulation helps to understand extrusion stability, filament uniformity at the nozzle exit, and the influence of rheological parameters (yield stress and plastic viscosity) on pumpability and extrudability, supporting the experimental findings on flow spread, buildability, and interlayer bond performance.
