About this project
CFD-based simulation of the complex airflow dynamics within multipass gas cells used in absorption spectroscopy systems. Characterization of the three-dimensional gas flow patterns within multipass cell geometries. Advanced CFD simulations employ transient analysis with species transport modeling to track gas concentration evolution within the cell volume. Various turbulence models are evaluated to accurately capture low Reynolds number flows typical in spectroscopic applications. Parametric studies examine different inlet configurations, flow rates, and cell geometries.
