This project analyzes the structural strength and aerodynamic performance of a clipped-delta rocket fin using SimScale. Finite Element Method (FEM) is used to evaluate Von Mises stress, deformation, and factor of safety under a uniform aerodynamic pressure load, while Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is used to study airflow, pressure distribution, velocity contours, and wake formation at an ascent speed of 85 m/s. The fin design is further optimized by rounding the leading edge to improve structural and aerodynamic performance.
