This project focuses on the structural and aerodynamic analysis of a rocket fin using Finite Element Method (FEM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The main objective is to study how the fin behaves under aerodynamic loading, identify stress concentration regions, evaluate deformation, and determine the structural safety of the design. In the FEM part, the rocket fin geometry is assigned material properties, fixed at the root, and analyzed under pressure loading using different mesh sizes. In the CFD part, the external airflow around the fin is simulated to observe pressure distribution, velocity patterns, and wake formation. The results from both analyses help in understanding the fin’s performance, stability, and suitability for rocket applications.
