This project investigates the structural integrity and aerodynamic performance of a rocket fin using Finite Element Method (FEM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations in SimScale. The structural analysis evaluates Von Mises stress, deformation, and factor of safety under aerodynamic loading, while the CFD analysis examines pressure distribution, velocity contours, streamlines, drag, and wake formation. A mesh dependency study and design optimization are also performed to improve the fin's structural strength and aerodynamic efficiency.
