Developed a machine component optimization workflow by integrating CAD modeling, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and data-driven methods. A baseline design was parameterized in CAD and evaluated using ANSYS for stress, deflection, and modal frequency under applied loads. Design of Experiments (DOE) was applied to generate multiple design variations, and simulation results were analyzed using Python for sensitivity analysis and surrogate modeling. Machine learning–based optimization was then performed to minimize weight while ensuring constraints on strength, stiffness, and natural frequency were satisfied. The optimized design achieved significant weight reduction while maintaining safety and performance standards.
