Thermal simulations for a heatpipe heatsink designed for high-power COB LEDs. The dimensions of the heat sink are 340 * 120 * 65 mm, 3 heat pipes of 8 mm are used, the calculated area is about 7000 square cm. In theory, the heat sink should distribute 220 W of the connected electrical power. LEDs from Lumileds COB GEN 4 1825 4070 series
