Designing and CFD Analysis of Vortex tube. (Research based project) A Vortex tube is a device with no and moving mechanical parts, It produces two stream of air one hot side and other cold side by injecting compressed air through tangent entry in the tube then it produces instant cooling and have capability to eject cold air up to -50oC and on hot side up to 150oC.Currently working in the domain to provide cooling to CNC tools to avoid thermal damage due to heating. The aim the project is to optimize the tool efficiency during the process and to avoid the wear due to heating during process, and the Vortex tube can produce up to 6000 BTU/hr of cooling at a certain spot
