About this project

Goal of the project is to calculate pressure drop in a 3D Rectangular Channel with multiple 90 degree bends in which water is flowing with the Reynolds number of 51000. Further goal is to optimize the pressure drop by adding vanes at the 90 degree channel bends. The type of simulation is steady incompressible turbulent flow. 5 times the hydraulic diameter extension is given as extension at the inlet in order to develop the flow and same extension is given after the real outlet in order to eliminate the impact of boundary condition on the domain of interest.
