Conjugate Heat Transfer simulation of a custom 6S4P cylindrical Li-ion battery pack (21700 cells, ~1000 Wh) under 1C continuous discharge at 45°C ambient. The study evaluates passive aluminium heat spreader effectiveness, identifies cell-level hot spots, and validates the I²R volumetric heat model against geometry simplification assumptions.
