This project focuses on the structural and aerodynamic evaluation of a rocket fin using the SimScale cloud simulation platform. A Finite Element Method (FEM) static analysis is carried out to determine the Von Mises stress, total deformation, and Factor of Safety under aerodynamic loads. Additionally, a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation is performed to study airflow behavior, pressure distribution, drag coefficient, and wake formation around the fin. The analyses are conducted using the Code_Aster (FEM) and OpenFOAM (CFD) solvers as part of the India Space Lab Rocketry Training Program.
