The system combines a simple device and software to detect parasites. A stool sample is prepared on a slide and placed under a smartphone fitted with a clip-on lens and light. The phone captures clear images, which are then analyzed using an AI model to detect parasite eggs. The system outputs a result (positive or negative), which is compared with the Kato-Katz technique for validation.
