Semi-Bench Scale Simulation
About this project
The goal of this project is to simulate the fluid flow through a 5×5 array of channels (25 channels in total) to analyze the velocity and pressure distribution across the entire cross-section. The simulation aims to generate full-sectional data for further analysis. I will use an incompressible fluid flow simulation (CFD) to model the flow through the channels. The simulation will likely use a steady-state solver like simpleFoam to compute the flow field. This project involves a geometry of 5×5 channels (42.5 mm × 42.5 mm × 800 mm) with 25 cylindrical holes. The objective is to perform a CFD simulation to study the flow behavior, including velocity and pressure profiles, within the channels. The simulation will include meshing the geometry, setting appropriate boundary conditions (e.g., inlet velocity, outlet pressure), and post-processing the results to extract full-sectional data for all 25 channels. The data will be used for further analysis and visualization.
