This project investigates the heat rejection performance of a bare aluminium condenser coil under steady-state operating conditions. Hot water at approximately 70°C is circulated through the aluminium coil to simulate the thermal load of a condenser. The objective is to evaluate the coil's heat transfer characteristics, temperature distribution, outlet water temperature, and total heat dissipation to the surrounding air. This simulation serves as the baseline study before introducing a wick-assisted evaporative cooling system, allowing quantitative comparison of the improvement in heat rejection achieved by the wick. The study uses conjugate heat transfer (CHT) analysis to model conduction through the aluminium tube and convection between the water, aluminium, and ambient air.
