I created a new simulation project called 'Wind flow through Building':

Simon CFD Wind flow through Building

Hello @s0094260

I had a look into the geometry. There might have been a problem during importing/creating the geometry. The extent of the geometry looks incorrect, as shown in the image below.

Please try to do the modeling by maintaining the units in ‘meters’ or this can also be done by scaling the geometry once imported to SimScale platform. There is also a line (shown in the following image) seen in your geometry which blows up the geometry size. In this case please try to upload the geometry to ‘OnShape’ and then directly import to SimScale.

If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Best regards,
Sam (@sjesu_rajendra )

Dear Sam,

Thank you for your e-mail.
I have corrected the geometry (under new project) and ran a simulation. (Run 1).
The log says the simulation has finished but, it also says there is an error and do not know why.
Could you possibly help me with it?

Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.

The link to my project is below.

Hi @sjesu_rajendra

I have managed to run simulations. However, the problem now is that the simulation process has been stuck in the ‘Finishing Up’ step. I can’t retrieve any results. I have tried few more times after that but the outcome is the same.
I have used up good amount of simulation time, but no results, which is a bit frustrating.

Could you please look in to this matters?

Thank you.

Kind Regards,
D.

Hello Daniel (@s0094260),

I’m looking into the project and will get back to you once I find a cause/solution to the problem.

Best regards,
Sam
