'Verbund_Rohr' simulation project by rrajmis

I created a new simulation project called 'Verbund_Rohr':

More of my public projects can be found here.

Hey @rrajmis!

It seems like you are missing the bonding definition between your volumes. You can do two things in this regard:

  1. Merge the solids in to one since they consist of same material. You can have a look at this forum post for more info.: Merging solids in Onshape and meshing. Import the merged geometry and mesh it with same parameters. Assign this new mesh to your already created simulation under Domain. Reassign the material and boundary condition and you are good to go.

  2. If you don’t want to follow step 1, then you have to define bonded contact between overlapping solid faces. Go to Contacts and then create new contact, select Bonded contact and then assign one surface of a solid as master and other overlapping surface of other solid as slave. Make sure to assign bigger surface as master. You can also have a look at this forum post for more info.: Master and slave assignments

I hope this helps. If you have any question/s, feel free to ask.
