Hi @constantin07

To understand the workflow in setting up rotating zones you can take a look at these tutorials;

**[Drone Simulation Using Rotating Zones Tutorial](https://www.simscale.com/docs/tutorials/drone-simulation-rotating-zones/)**
**[Water turbine Tutorial](https://www.simscale.com/docs/tutorials/advanced-tutorial-fluid-flow-simulation-through-a-water-turbine/)**

* * *

Essentially the workflow is:
_Create a wind tunnel domain around the rotor_

- _Add a cylindrical rotating zone enclosing the blades_

- _Define the rotation axis and angular velocity_

- _Run the simulation, then use post-processing to display streamlines/velocity_

Thanks!
Bryan
