Simulation result in rotating zone

Hi

I am currently trying to run simulations for a vertical wind turbine and wonder if the simulation result in rotating zone is okay because I got something like this below picture.

I have checked other public projects regarding the VAWT simulations and they didn’t have this kind of result in the rotating zone. Would you be able to explain this to me what caused it, please? Or is it normal to have this?

Hey there!

I don’t know exactly what you are waiting from the results, but I do not find any obvious issues:

What you are seeing in this plot is just a velocity magnitude result on the rotating zone boundary. Try different visualizations to examine your results!

I just wonder if I have done something wrong to have that on the top surface of the rotating zone as others don’t.
