# Simulation Error

Thanks @gupta126579, now let’s turn to a couple of other alternatives:

1. Add a **[Volume custom sizing](https://www.simscale.com/docs/simulation-setup/meshing/standard/#volume-custom-sizing)** refinement near the airfoil
2. Increase the boundary layer’s refinements on the airfoil’s surface using an **[Inflate Boundary Layer](https://www.simscale.com/docs/simulation-setup/meshing/standard/#inflate-boundary-layer)** refinement. This will lower the y+ values of the boundary layers’ cells and will help with the near-wall behavior.
