Simple Heating block

It is harder and it takes longer to provide support without full details.To speed up the process and quickly solve your issues this is a reminder to post as much information as you possibly can:

  • A description of the project and what you are trying to achieve
    I am modeling a simple heating block
    rectangle, 100mmx500mmx25mm - 3 10mm holes

  • An description of what is happening, screenshots or error logs are helpful
    I select the interior hole face as my heat boundry of 350F, this is where the cartridge heaters will be placed

I set the exterior faces as a Convective heat flux and set it to 70F

If I want to model the “warm-up” period of the heater block, what should I set the Convective Heat Flux parameter to?

Why did you delete your simulation runs? This way I won’t be able to spot if a mistake was done.
