  • Relying solely on Residual plots for monitoring convergence of steady-state simulations can be misleading
  • Area-averages sometimes miss out on regions of domain with interesting flow phenomena that take some time to converge
  • Having a probe result-control item would help in monitoring variables at desired locations and monitor convergence in a more reliable way

Completely agree, Iā€™m out of votes but you have my support :smiley:

  • It would be good to automatically stop solving when this result steadies sufficiently
  • It would be nice to monitor only the selected variable. i.e. one result control for each variable, however, multiple probes selected within the result control
