Reducing an amount of core hours on simulation run?

Hi

I am wondering if there is a way to reduce a great amount of core hours being consumed when running a simulation? When I try to run a simulation, it requires a lot of core hours per run.

Hi there, thank you for using the forum!

Some things you can try:

  1. Always use the ‘Automatic’ option for the number of processors.
  2. Try to reduce the size of the mesh by using the Standard mesher, and doing a mesh sensitivity analysis prior to the run.
  3. Use tolerance for your parameters, so the run stops when the residuals drop below this.
