It’s been a long time since our last update (we actually skipped the most important one here which was the release of the new SimScale Workbench),
but we are back with a long list of new features!
This December release brought many features including run continuation, frequency analysis, flow volume extraction and more.

currently we only support continuation of steady state CFD runs.
As I mentioned, we are planning to extend this feature in the coming year to more analysis types and beyond the pure extension of a run towards more complex scenarios.
We will monitor the usage of this feature and depending from which extensions our users will benefit the most, we will prioritize and plan our road map accordingly.
You can post a specific feature request for the continuation of nonlinear FEA runs in the “Vote for features” section to gather more support for this.
