'Passive_cooler' simulation

I created a new simulation project called 'Passive_cooler':

Heat dissipation from the passive coolers on a chipset

More of my public projects can be found here.

The project simulates the heat transfer on a passive cooler.
The cooler is attached on computer processors to improve the heat transfer and reduce the temperature on the processor surface.
The geometry was taken from grabcad.com

The meshing was achieved with the help of the automatic tetrahedral tool with a Very Coarse setting.
The material was Aluminium. A heat flux was provided at the bottom along with the convective heat flux for the fins and rest of the surface.

The results show a high flux gradient at the interface between the fins and the lower body due to the reduction of cross-sectional area.
A gradual decrease of temperature is also observed along the height of the fins.
